Summer diet should be light, bitter, cold, rich nutrition, easy to digest food. Suitable food such as bitter melon, bitter herbs, broadleaf holly leaf, celery, bitter chrysanthemum, beer, asparagus lettuce, towel gourd, etc. to drive hotness away and promote appetite.
Particular attention to the water in summer to supplement the body’s water loss cased by sweating. At the same time, we can eat some sour food, such as tomato, lemon, plum, grape, hawthorn, etc.
Hot summer, especially at night, we can also drink some cold rice porridge, such as mung beans porridge, lotus porridge, wax gourd porridge, etc., these can moisten the throat and promote appetite.
In addition, summer has more fruits and edible nutrition vegetables. When eating them, we must disinfect and clean them to avoid food poisoning.
